My angel's baptism!

Sunday, July 26, 2009 marked yet another very special day for us! Our son was baptized. It was such a joyous event! The service was beautiful and Alex Jr. behaved wonderfully. He didn't even cry as the water was poured on his head. He was so attentive to everything the priest was saying. I was just so proud of my baby boy! After the service we went to Rotelli for the reception. Alex sported his guayabera outfit and looked very handsome if i must say so myself! We had a wonderful time with our family!

My Poor Baby

Baby Alex is suffering from constipation! Oh no! So I've been giving him some prune (baby food) diluted with water. He loves my little concoction, and I'm excited because it is definitely helping him with the poopy issue! He had another one of those "Chili's moments"...lol....and great-grandma had to deal with it this time while mommy finished her mani/pedi!

Today was a cranky day for my angel! He just refused to go to sleep! It is now 11:14pm and he finally got to bed. I sure hope tomorrow is a better day...we have a lot to do to get ready for Sunday!

This is my beautiful family! :) I just love to show them off! lol.

I'm currently a stay-at-home mom so I get to stay home with my angel and watch as he explores the world around him. Each and every day his curiosity takes him to a new challenge! He recently rolled over for the first time from his tummy to his back, the next day he rolled over from back to tummy, and now he rolls back and forth any chance he gets! It's just amazing! Every time he discovers something new (he recently found his toes...lol) I just feel so proud! I can't wait to see what he comes up with next!

Today was definitely an interesting day! We had our first portfolio photoshoot! He behaved so well and came out very handsome in all of his pictures. After the shoot we went to dinner with Tia Hash and Charlie! After a few days of pooping nightmare (constipation indeed) he decided it was time to let it all out...and by ALL I do mean ALL! lol....my poor baby was just a walking poopy diapy! OH NO! It was like a scene out of a funny movie! Into the bathroom with baby Alex we went and the only logical solution: Stick Baby Alex in the sink (but of course....DON'T LET THE BABY TOUCH THE SINK!)! What a mission! LOL! It was definitely a day for the memory book! Needless to say I was probably the happiest mother in the world because my baby POOPED! YEY! Ah....the joys of parenthood! :)

Mommy's first blog!

Well I'm new to blogging! I think it's a great way to keep friends and family updated so I'm very excited to finally have a blog of my own! YEY! :)

As you all know I am also new to the amazing world of parenting! Alex and I have a gorgeous son named Alex Jr. He is our life! I am now 5 months and 5 days into my mommy adventure and although it definitely has its very unpredictable moments, it is by far the greatest adventure I have embarked on. I just love being a mommy! I wake up every morning to a smiling face and a gurgling baby boy. I have such a happy baby! He brightens the grayest of days and lights up my life!

Throughout this blog I will try to document my journey through mommyhood! The wonderful days, the funny days, the crazy ones, and the not so crazies....all so that someday I can sit with my son, look back at this, and laugh!
